With over 15 years of experience in hospitality and 7 years in caretaking—from weddings to hospitals to boardrooms—I’ve spent my life helping people find clarity in chaotic moments. But when my career was halted by life’s ultimate truth—mortality—the grief that followed led me down a different path. Losing my parents just 10 months apart forced me to reevaluate everything I thought I knew about purpose, success, and the stories we tell ourselves.
That loss set me on a new path—to help people navigate the dark and uncertain places in their lives, whether they’re feeling lost or simply looking for the next step forward. My work is about being a lighthouse—shedding light on the path ahead without shying away from the storms.
My story
I’m a 7th-generation Texan, raised in a small town with no red lights. My path has been anything but linear—caretaking for my high school sweetheart through lymphoma and my mother through colon cancer, starting over after an unhealthy marriage, and navigating deep loss alongside unexpected love.
In just a few years, my entire world turned upside down. I lost my parents but gained clarity. I walked away from what no longer served me and into something better than I imagined. Now, I’m engaged to my best friend, building a home full of love (and two very different cats, Hue and Peach), and stepping into a future that once felt impossible.
I know what it’s like to face uncertainty, to wonder if life will ever feel steady again. That’s why I do this work—to shed light in dark places, to help others navigate the mess and the magic of change, and to remind you that even the hardest chapters can lead somewhere beautiful.
